À BOIRE ET À MANGER, MUCH MORE THAN A GROCERY STORE
This is the kind of grocery store you dream about. A traditional shop that has echoes of the past, but catering most definitely to the present. Founder Anne Laure Mendes has established a wonderful place which hearkens back to a time when the local shop was somewhere that you could linger to savour the atmosphere and enticing aromas, discover new delights and take the time for a chat. Attractively laid out and accessible, offering a well-chosen selection of high quality organic local produce presented upon gleaming white shelves, this retro delicatessen is a joy and a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth. Gourmet oils and mustards, bread, cheeses, shortbreads with loads of butter, Scottish porridge and so much more. You can order a wide range of tempting treats for takeaway; noon quiches, deliciously rich soups, specially prepared sandwiches, and salads for sunny days are also available.
