Hergé at the Grand Palais, Tintin in Paris
The master cartoonist who created one of the greatest comic strips of all time, The Adventures of Tintin, is the subject of a new exhibition at the Grand Palais. Georges Remi, better known as Hergé, has been rightly called the ‘father of the European comic strip’, and here you can see the full extent of his genius. From lesser-known works such as Quick and Flupke to his world-renowned graphic album masterpiece, Tintin, this exceptional exhibition brings together the largest number of Hergé’s original art pages ever seen together in public and looks back on the career of this writer, painter, graphic artist and art lover, over thirty years after his death.
