Journey to the Centre of Fashion at the Pierre Cardin Museum
Inaugurated by the couturier in person, the Past - Present – Future Museum traces the creative passion of Pierre Cardin through couture, accessories, jewellery and design.
The history of the more than 250 haute-couture creations on display is told by Renée Taponier, curator of the museum and loyal collaborator with the couturier for more than 50 years. The various fabrics, techniques and materials used will be explained.
Beneath the large and impressive glass roof you are invited to take a unique journey that encapsulates a lifetime of work. Stretching from the basement to the first floor, the permanent collection is regularly enriched by new pieces chosen from among the 4,000 items preserved in the archives of the world-famous couture house.
