Le Corbusier, Human Action
Here is the summer exhibition that is not to be missed at the Pompidou Centre! An unprecedented retrospective of the visionary architect, artist, designer and urban planner Le Corbusier, who changed our way of living by taking a fresh and bold approach to architectural creation. Adopting an innovative approach itself, the exhibition reassesses the works of this great figure of modernity through the concept of human proportion. The exhibition looks at the source of Le Corbusier’s design aesthetic; the human body. Unlike other architects of his era, he felt that the body defined one of architecture’s five basic rules, and he created in accordance with his beliefs. With the human body itself as a universal principle, we can only take the Measures of Man! JR.
