Michalak TakeAway, after the street food, sweet food
Master pastry chef Christophe Michalak is bursting with ideas. The latest is a little place with a big heart adjacent to his MasterClass workshop and school. The Michalak TakeAway offers no croissants or traditional cakes, but plenty of sweet treats. There’s no gelatin used. Additionally, there’s no storage or freezing, as everything is fresh, being prepared only a few hours before opening time by Christophe Michalak and his chefs. Among the delicious items on offer are the Kosmik (Choco hazelnut and Caramel), the quintessence of an extra fresh dessert to savour anytime, anywhere, sitting or standing in the street; the Klakette (Caramel and Macadamia nuts) and the Fantastik, an original creation halfway between pie and cake. There’s pastries in limited editions and plenty of excuses for the greediest of returns. The address is only minutes away from the Hotel Fabric Hotel! JR.
