The National Picasso Museum, open to visitors again
Since it reopened in October last year, the National Picasso Museum has welcomed more than 500,000 visitors. An astonishing figure that seems as surreal as the works of the master himself. In the Hôtel de Salé, one of the most beautiful mansions in the Marais district, with its grand staircase and courtyard pavilions, you will be delighted to discover and rediscover the collection of 5000 works, including 297 paintings and 368 sculptures, along with works by other artists from Picasso’s own personal collection. "A picture lives only by the beholder", said Picasso, and this museum is where you will come to understand the full meaning of this quote. JR.
