“Van Gogh, Starry Night” at Atelier des Lumieres
New year – new exhibition. The Atelier des Lumieres has got good habits. "Potato Eaters", "The Sunflowers", "The Starry Night", "The Bedroom" – do you recognize the artist? Yes, this is the master of expressionism Vincent Van Gogh who will be exposed in the Atelier des Lumieres in 2019. The exhibiting will show the artistic path of the painter focusing on his life in Arles, Paris and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The visitors will be transported into the heart of his works from his sunny landscapes and nightscapes to his portraits and still lives. This will be complemented by a new educational device inside the tank located in the center of the Atelier: a selection of van Gogh’s famous paintings will be represented in their entirety and accompanied by commentaries about his oeuvre and the museum in which it is exhibited. What a perfect occasion to visit the First Digital Art Center of Paris (only a few minutes’ walk from Hotel Fabric)!
