Yann Couvreur, the prince of pastry chefs has opened his first pâtisserie
Good news for everyone who has a sweet tooth, and all who enjoy the finest of pastry creations. Yann Couvreur, whose extraordinary talent marks him as pastry chef royalty, has opened his very own pâtisserie in eastern Paris. At the corner of Avenue Parmentier and the Rue du Faubourg du Temple, this vibrant flavour boutique has an eco-friendly vibe. Its understated elegance gives pride of place to the neoclassical and inspired pastries that form the cornerstone of Yann’s creativity, which adapts to the changing seasons. Bold ideas, flavours and textures are what you can look forward to. A limited number of sumptuous desserts can be enjoyed right away while sitting on a high stool at the counter. There’s the famous Madagascar vanilla millefeuille, the kouign-amann Breton cake and other classics with a dash of modernity. JR.
