FOR LOVERS OF CHOCOLATE ...
Having been chocolatier at the famous Maison du Chocolat, Jacques Genin then worked out of his own laboratoire in the 15th arrondissement where he produced his tempting gastronomic luxuries for the finest restaurants and hotels in Paris and came to be acclaimed by the top chefs. He opened his Chocolaterie on the rue de Turenne in the former workshop of Yves Saint Laurent couture, of all places. Now it is from his field of delicious dreams on the 1st floor that the maestro and his team fashion chocolate candy and other confections which continue to cause a sensation amongst his many devotees. In this particularly romantic season Jacques Genin declares his love for all lovers of chocolate and offers the passionate beating of his Grand Coeur Saint Valentin, or Great Heart of Saint Valentine, with its exquisite confections; chocolate chips in raspberries, mint, fruit jellies, nougat, mendiant, muscadine, truffle ... ( weight 220 grams, € 39). Why not also treat yourself to herb and spice-infused ganaches, almond rochers, classic and salted butter caramels and many other irresistible delights from this place where excellence and artistry are foremost. Then there is the tea room. Reflecting a fine old house, but without taking itself too seriously, the elegance and refinement of this place offers a distinctive ambience. Here you can enjoy a tea or hot chocolate and a pastry, or several! Chocolate and tea
