OBERKAMPF DISTRICT
The popular and cosmopolitan Oberkampf is a diverse and dynamic quarter. This part of the capital appeals to artists and artisans and they set up their workshops here. It has also gained quite a reputation among gourmets as a neighbourhood where true Parisian bistronomy can be found.
Here you will discover the authentic Paris, thanks to the many small shops, the Popincourt food market, the flea markets of the Place d'Aligre, and the charmingly leafy Boulevard Voltaire.
CENTRAL LOCATION
The Hotel FABRIC enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the capital. Situated in the lively Oberkampf quarter, just a short stroll from the Marais, where trendy bars and design studios nestle side-by-side, it’s within easy reach of the Place de la Bastille and the Place de la République, the Canal Saint-Martin and the fashionable Marais district.
STARTING POINT
Our hotel offers the perfect base from which to explore the famous Marais district and its crooked medieval lanes, fashion boutiques and trendy shops. Don’t miss the Place des Vosges, the digital museum of fine art called the Atelier des Lumières or the Picasso Museum, located a short distance away.
The centre of Paris can be reached in 20 minutes thanks to the Metro stations situated conveniently close to the Hotel Fabric: Saint Ambroise (line 9) and Oberkampf (lines 5 and 9).
