Café Araku, a grain of character
Categories : Eating, Drinking, published on : 3/31/17
The dream was to create the first fully integrated organic coffee supply, with a smooth and ethical transition from the coffee plantation to the cup. From this desire to produce coffee while respecting both nature and people Araku was born, a coffee from the best terroirs of the Valley of Araku, located between sea and mountain in the heart of India. One of the world’s major coffee producing countries, India is considered by experts to be a producer of high quality coffee beans. Produced exclusively by ecologically responsible and sustainable agricultural methods, Araku coffee is certified organic and grown by hand in small plots. This commitment is revealed through a collection of 6 grands crus, in grain or ground, all pure arabicas, cultivated, harvested, and roasted by farmers working hand in hand with respect for tradition, and it’s all awaiting your discovery in this new shop in the Haut Marais. If the zinc counter, the stone tiles and the mouldings evoke thoughts of traditional Parisian cafes, the colours and natural flavours plunge us into the heart of an Indian valley.
