A « must to do » restaurant since 1956 to eat good at a fare price
At the beginning Mr. and Mrs. Astier opened this Parisian bistrot with the idea to make discover their well-made family kitchen to others.
Then, over the years, the restaurants has been passed into the hands of several important chefs who contribute to the popularity and quality of the restaurant we know nowadays.
Despite their inventive cuisine skills, the restaurant has retained its old-world charm and simplicity. For many years Astier has remained a completely traditional bistrot with red and white checkered tablecloths, wooden chairs and leather bench. Nowadays, it has been refreshed but retaining at the same time its code of Parisian brewery: checkered towels, wooden chairs, velvet benches and woodwork.
Today the kitchen is in the hands of Cyril Boulet (ex chef of Robuchon, Troisgros and Marc Meneau) and Mathieu Le Tirrand (ex chef of Alain Dutournier). In Astier, you will be able to choose from a selection of some 350 references of wine. Regarding the ambiance, nothing more welcoming respecting the values of the hospitality and gastronomy of Paris.
