Until 1 March 2020 find Joris-Karl Huysmans Writer and major art critic of the late 19th century and who discovered painters who are now still very famous.

In this superb exhibition, come and admire paintings by Manet cohabiting with that of Degas or Grünewald. Between European art and more contemporary style the spectator is transported in time by this visionary writer, involved in so many artistic movements.  

Indeed, yet not very  famous among the public, Huysmans has nevertheless played a crucial role in the aesthetic debates of his time by highlighting painters like Gauguin and Rembrandt.
This exhibition offers a wide range of an artistic period and is definitely not to be missed if you are a fan of painting or literature!
