The Christmas Magic at the Galeries Lafayette

Like every year the Christmas magic invades Paris. The Galeries Lafayette Haussmann amaze us with their giant Christmas tree, their animations and their shop windows. This year's theme, to compensate the closing of the borders, is the journey beside Céleste, a young explorer! 

This year, more than ever, we need fairy tales for the festive season. That's why Galeries Lafayette Haussmann is betting on an enchanting Christmas to delight young and old visitors of the department store. The artistic direction has been entrusted to Tom Schamp, a Belgian illustrator who often works for children's albums.

On the store windows, you will discover 11 paintings depicting the fantastic encounters of Celeste where automatons and fairy-tale decorations mix together... a real show! 
So don't be surprised to meet a giant panther in its snowy jungle, a flower dancer-star, Russian dolls as well as mischievous monkeys or polar bears.
