The Must-See Events in Paris!
On 31 October, we celebrate Halloween, and the City of Light is brimming with themed outings for young and old alike. Between mystery, laughter, and fright, Paris becomes a veritable playground where imagination meets terror.
We've handpicked the best activities so you can make the most of the spookiest night of the year!
Explore the Paris Catacombs for an Unforgettable Halloween
Among the must-dos, you simply can't miss a visit to the Catacombs of Paris. What better time than Halloween night to venture into this legendary place? Descend into the largest ossuary in the world and wander through 800 metres of galleries lined with bones: a setting as fascinating as it is chilling, perfect for getting swept up in the atmosphere of 31 October. The Catacombs offer a unique experience combining history and thrills, an ideal activity for anyone wanting a Halloween in Paris that is as cultural as it is spine-chilling.
A Guided Tour of Père Lachaise Cemetery
Fans of the gothic atmosphere will enjoy the guided walk “Père Lachaise en musique” (Père Lachaise in Music), offered for Halloween at Père Lachaise Cemetery, just a few minutes from the hotel. On Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm or from 2 pm to 4 pm, follow in the footsteps of Chopin, Rossini, Édith Piaf, Yves Montand, Jim Morrison, and other great figures of music. Their graves are the starting point for stories about their lives, their work, and their ties to Paris.
A poetic, slightly melancholy stroll, ideal for soaking up the Halloween spirit without too many chills. The special Halloween rate is €10, by reservation only. Wear comfortable shoes: the route is on foot, with cobblestones and slopes.
Halloween with the family: sweet treats and theme parks
Children won’t be left out either! They can go hunting for treats in the streets of Paris or enjoy a magical adventure in the theme parks. Parc Astérix returns with a new edition of Peur sur le Parc, packed with brand-new entertainment and spectacular sets.
Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris is celebrating its Disney Halloween Festival from 26 September to 1 November 2026, where pumpkins, ghosts, and Disney characters come together in a setting that is both enchanting and eerie. Disney Villains take center stage, and Mickey’s Halloween Celebration returns with its parade. An enchanted break for young and old alike.
